12-Days of Fitness (Day 6)

On the 6th day of fitness my trainer gave to me:
  • ·         25 Push-ups
  • ·         25 Alternating Lunges (25 ea leg)
  • ·         25 Air Squats
  • ·         25 Cross Countries
  • ·         25 Jumping Jacks
  • ·         15 minutes of seated relaxation and silence (Meditation)

This routine should take you no longer than 18 minutes, including the meditation.

Today during your seated relaxation, try to imagine what feels like eat food that nourishes the mind, body & spirit!
What does it feel like to eat natural raw fruits and veggies and lean protein throughout the day?
What does it feel like when you say “I am no longer eating sugar, flour, or starch unless it is my cheat day” and you actually keep that promise for yourself?
What does it feel like when you say you are going to eat well today and you actually do it?
What does it feel like when everyone around you sees that you are doing what you said you were going to do?
What does it feel like when you have lost 10-25 pounds because you honored your word to yourself?

Start acting on your new way of being:
Here are high level ideas that will help you start the holidays and new year off right!
  • 1.       Eat more fresh veggies & fruit.
  • 2.       Consume more fiber and less starch.
  • 3.       Eat lean proteins & healthy fats.
  • 4.       Eat smaller, more frequently.
  • 5.       Eat Less, Move More!

During your meditation, go on a mental trip and vision what all these things feel like and actually get into the feeling and really empower yourself to imagine that they already exist for you.
Meditate every day!  Every day you do it following your workout, you will reaffirm to mind that it is all true.  The truth is, you already possess the body, mind, spirit in your imagination.  We find no issue with beating ourselves up. Saying that we are fat. Knowing that we eat foods that pack on the pounds and cause disease.  But for some reason we are not willing to use this same power to reverse this trend and be who we truly are; Healthy, whole and Complete!

Let that be your mantra for the next week.  Repeat to yourself throughout the day: I am Healthy, Whole, and Complete!  And when you find yourself saying something that is the opposite of this, say to yourself; STOP! Thank you for sharing and then move in to your new affirmation of I am Healthy, Whole , and Complete!

·         Comment back to let me know how you are doing on your 12-days of Fitness Challenge.
·         Share the 12-Day of Fitness with others.  FWD the Tweets, Like on Fbook, share on your Fbook page.
·         Spread the gift of health and mind, body, spirit awareness.

12 Days of Fitness: Day #1

On the 1st day of fitness my trainer gave to me:
  • 2.5 minutes of seated relaxation & silence meditation to reflect on my wholeness with myself and the universe!

The holidays can be stressful.
  • Shopping
  • Family
  • Friends
  • Bad Food vs. Good Food
  • Trying to Lose Weight
  • Feeling bad about yourself
The list of stressors goes on and on!

Try to sit and meditate or just be silent for 2.5 minutes, that’s all, nothing else.  I promise you will feel better!

Starting tomorrow I will be giving you daily exercises for the remaining 11 days of fitness. Each day the list of exercises will get longer.  I will also be increasing your silence time on a daily basis.
Perform the exercises in the morning if possible.  Use this silence time to reflect and contemplate how you want to be in the world, and how you feel when you have achieved your goals. How do you feel when you have no stress?

Most of all Have Fun with the 12 days of fitness!

The goal of the 12 days of fitness is to align your mind, body, & spirit as we get closer to the New Year so that you will be fully prepared with the tools needed to get you where you want to be and how you want to feel in 2013 and for the rest of your life!

Peace, love and health,

VOLUNTEER WEEKEND PLAN FOR 11/17-11/18

The current plan is to caravan back to the Highlands NJ this weekend and meet in Huddy Park at 9 am to volunteer for the day to help families work on their homes and town.  Last weekend 100's of volunteers helped in the effort.
If we feel that the area is stabilizing steadily then we may decide to go to an even harder hit area like union beach or Keansburg. If you would like to join us please let me know asap!

Besides volunteering, John and I are also looking to give a family a nice thanksgiving and Christmas.

Blessings,
Theo
