12-Days of Fitness (Day 6)

On the 6th day of fitness my trainer gave to me:
  • ·         25 Push-ups
  • ·         25 Alternating Lunges (25 ea leg)
  • ·         25 Air Squats
  • ·         25 Cross Countries
  • ·         25 Jumping Jacks
  • ·         15 minutes of seated relaxation and silence (Meditation)

This routine should take you no longer than 18 minutes, including the meditation.

Today during your seated relaxation, try to imagine what feels like eat food that nourishes the mind, body & spirit!
What does it feel like to eat natural raw fruits and veggies and lean protein throughout the day?
What does it feel like when you say “I am no longer eating sugar, flour, or starch unless it is my cheat day” and you actually keep that promise for yourself?
What does it feel like when you say you are going to eat well today and you actually do it?
What does it feel like when everyone around you sees that you are doing what you said you were going to do?
What does it feel like when you have lost 10-25 pounds because you honored your word to yourself?

Start acting on your new way of being:
Here are high level ideas that will help you start the holidays and new year off right!
  • 1.       Eat more fresh veggies & fruit.
  • 2.       Consume more fiber and less starch.
  • 3.       Eat lean proteins & healthy fats.
  • 4.       Eat smaller, more frequently.
  • 5.       Eat Less, Move More!

During your meditation, go on a mental trip and vision what all these things feel like and actually get into the feeling and really empower yourself to imagine that they already exist for you.
Meditate every day!  Every day you do it following your workout, you will reaffirm to mind that it is all true.  The truth is, you already possess the body, mind, spirit in your imagination.  We find no issue with beating ourselves up. Saying that we are fat. Knowing that we eat foods that pack on the pounds and cause disease.  But for some reason we are not willing to use this same power to reverse this trend and be who we truly are; Healthy, whole and Complete!

Let that be your mantra for the next week.  Repeat to yourself throughout the day: I am Healthy, Whole, and Complete!  And when you find yourself saying something that is the opposite of this, say to yourself; STOP! Thank you for sharing and then move in to your new affirmation of I am Healthy, Whole , and Complete!
